Santa Avelina Waterfall

Quiché is a destination located in the northwestern region of Guatemala that is characterized by its great natural and cultural wealth. If you travel to this department, you definitely cannot miss visiting these famous waterfalls. Upon arrival you will be amazed by its main waterfall that creates a unique natural sound in the region.

One of the main attractions of this destination are its different natural pools that have formed on the banks of the waterfalls. You will swim in the middle of leafy trees and paths through the forest.

Río Azul

It rises in the municipality of Concepción Huista, and then joins the Catarina River as well as the Nentón River in the northwest corner of the municipality of the same name. Many tourists have shown interest in the different spots surrounded by vegetation where you can swim peacefully.

Los Amates, Santa Rosa

Petén Itzá is located in the north of the country, 465 km northeast of Guatemala City. It has an area of 1,064 square kilometers in total.
It measures approximately 35 km from east to west and 16 km from north to south. It is also approximately 50 meters deep. It does not have any visible outlet for the water flow, since its drainage is below the surface.
Much of the surrounding land is covered in tropical rainforest. Normally, tourists pass by the lake area on their way to visit the archaeological site of Tikal. It is a special place where you can swim and take walks along its forested shores.

La Igualdad, San Marcos

Considered one of the highest in Guatemala and Central America, the Equality Falls have a height of 187 meters. To get there you must walk along a path surrounded by coffee plantations on the slopes of the Tajumulco Volcano. It is ideal to enjoy a getaway full of nature and paradisiacal spaces.

Finca El Paraíso

Finca El Paraíso has a beautiful waterfall of hot water that mixes with the cold water of the river when it falls, which makes it a unique attraction. Approximately 8 meters high, it is possible to dive from the waterfall. It also has a restaurant, camping area, security and bathrooms.
